We are in bust territory

Fields has played so much better the last month, but this was the kind of special performance I had been begging to see from him at least one time before the season was over. 4 total TD's and setting the single game rushing record for a QB will do that. Now I need to see the 300 yard passing performance with no turnovers.

What an amazing turn around these past 4-5 weeks. He looked like he was heading towards bust territory, and now he's looking like a potential future MVP candidate. That mini-bye week decision to tweak the offense may have literally saved the franchise, because if Fields goes on to have a lot of success, we are always going to remember that Patriots game as the moment everything started to click.

It's not that these people are yelling bust. It's that they don't want to listen to any expert analysis that says otherwise.

They seem to want to double down into it and no one can convince them, even people who played the game.

It's almost sad if you think about it. Almost as if they've created their own football opposite land so that every play Fields makes is proof of him being a bust.

It'll be nice to see what happens when Pringle is back and Fields figures out how to turn his threat to run into the ability to find open receivers for big gains on a consistent basis. Would anyone doubt that he'll get there at some point this year now?

That is NOT on the quarterback. He tried yesterday, and Mooney turned his back. The interception, Equifax rounds out his route instead of driving back to the ball. These receivers SUCK. Absolutely , unequivocally need a true #1 play maker outside.

Mitch was also not even remotely close to as good as Fields has been the past couple weeks nor will he ever be.

That’s great but you’re comparing him from after the atrocious Houston game, which was comparable to Bad Rex, to how he’s looked these last few games. Not sure what your point is

Coming from Fields #1 fan.

I hate to say it.

Bears QB curse is the worst curse in all of sports.

Guys, Fields o/u in passing yardage was like 170 something. Vegas thinks Fields is Craig Krenzel.
LOL Fields is not a bust.

So now you think he’s gonna be like Grossman? If not there’s absolutely no reason to even bring up Grossman. The point is maybe save your whining about him playing poor until the end of the season. In case, ya know, he plays like he did the last 3 weeks.
