Good grief, it's getting hard to do write ups on the Cubs these days. For the love of God, we can't even beat our former AAAA team. We used to embarrass these guys to the tune of double digit wins each year, now with their entire payroll of roughly $38 million, we can't buy a win against them.

We have 4-5 players on our team, whose contracts are worth more than their entire team! What the eff?

At least Lou still gives a crap. Oh wait. I know he isn't leaving runners on base or dropping a fly ball or anything, but this guy IS sitting back accepting what is going on. He has no fire. He simply runs out the same struggling players and cashes his checks.

It's sickening.

It's a horrible thing to watch. 0-4 against them this year? Absolutley unacceptable. We should be 4-0 against them,...3-1 at WORST.

This is getting pretty f'ing old.

What's funny is that the Cards are sucking it up too. Despite this crap start the Cubs are only 5.5 out.

the Reds are off to a good start but what else is new? They have done this for the last 10 years it seems, start strong, fade after AS break.

I will be super super pissed if we get swept, and my faith in them this year will be dead. I will also demand that they have a front office switch up that Monday.

Yeah...we're not very good...too much money invested in players that aren't worth it. And the sad thing: Soriano's playing well...and we're still losing and complaining about bad contracts :(
