There are obvious mistakes to be corrected on each of these plays but having said that there were also still plays to be had with the correct adjustments by either the wr, rb and most of all quarterback on passing plays.

Chase had open receivers on every play and some for big gainers with the correct reads or on the fly adjustments with some movement by him in the pocket, it’s why Brady is so good or was so good. Simple slight movement and the play could have been extended to make a pass of some sort or if he were mobile like Trubisky there were clear lanes for big gainers

Doesn’t look like play calling when you watch the tape but I don’t know how much tape makes it look so much easier.

Chase has to know that cover 2 shell has that receiver about 15 yards open almost every time especially on the left where that safety dropped super deep.

The missed blocks were alarming but on most of those if one more guy who fucked up were to make the play they could have been semi successful.

Long and Leno are fucking putrid and pussylike in a big way! Long just looks lost and weak and Leno looks like he’s giving half effort and unwilling to hit people.

I understand there’s multiple errors on most plays but they look well designed to me if they’re blocked well it would be tough to stop!

This oline just makes you sad bro. The fuck happened. All of them playing like scrubs man.

I don't think "sad" is the word I'd use to describe watching the OL... definitely more like "disgust" for me.

If Nagy truly is going to spend this bye week "self scouting" this week, I don't know how they can put Leno or Long back out there at LT against the Saints. There has to be some accountability here at the very least.

Leno is easily the softest player I've seen on the Bears OL since Chris Williams. How did this guy ever get into football, it's clear he doesn't like contact? It's one thing to be limited skill wise but there's no excuse for the pathetic level of effort this kid gives on a play by play basis. The one thing you can always control is your effort and Leno consistently fails to give even minimal effort. Just embarrassing.

As for Long, he's unfortunately a shell of his former self getting by on rep at this point. I don't want to shit on the guy to hard as he actually cares and give effort unlike Leno but you can just tell he's not the same player anymore. What's sad to watch for him are the mental errors or plays like the first one where he can't figure out who the block and ends up blocking no one.

If the first two picks in the draft aren't an LT and OG I want whatever Pace is smoking.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Bears

I have literally watched Brady stand in the pocket with no threat of the opposing pash rush getting to him for 10 seconds.

Our QBs are lucky if they're able to finish their dropback without a defender in their face, or one of their own linemen getting backed into them.

I feel like people are underplaying the importance of the offensive line. It's very important.

The third to last gif Monty should have worked back to the left. Otherwise, brutal OL play.

Thanks for post @Broc. I don't normally focus on the line during the games and don't have the time or interest to "review tape" afterwards.

Kyle Long has reached the point of unprofessionally bad.

He should have not played another down after the Washington game.

This. It's on nagy for putting him back in. He saw the guy is a liability out there, but put him back out only due to his namesake.

If he still marches him out after the bye, I will literally be furious. I feel like hes doing it just because he doesn't want to upset the locker room at this point.

Take a look at the 5th play (3rd and 5). 2 receivers run in-routes that basically come right at one another. No way this is correct, they should be layered. I cant read the numbers to tell you who it is. One of the recievers rounds off the route because he is headed straight at one another.

I honestly thought when they started Coward 2 weeks ago they were being graceful to Long. When he was back on the field last week I was surprised. I know they stress continuity among lineman but at some point you move on. Be interesting to see if we start the same five after the bye.

I moved to New England in 2006.....I have been a huge NFL fan for around 45 years and have never seen a QB get more time to throw (and hit less) than Tom Brady. I understand he is the GOAT and all but in this era where you already aren't allowed to really hit the QB...thereby extending his career artificially IMO...what if Joe Montana had played in this video game era? Or any other number of former greats?

Most the games the Patriots have lost are when their Oline struggles and Brady starts getting hit, which isn't very often. At this point Trubisky doesn't look very promising to me, but who the hell knows, we have no run game and as mobile as Trubisky is, he's still getting pressured quickly. It's not like these guys are holding their blocks for 4 seconds and then failing, it's a jailbreak every other play from jump he's looking to take off. I guess my point is, which some of you may argue...what if Trubisky had the amount of clean pocket time that Brady has? I'm not ready to flush him just quite yet

Maybe the oline just hates Daniels and is trying to get him killed?

I just dont get why they haven't made a change. Especially when the whole team watches the game tape and constantly sees him getting owned on every play.
