Must be able to figure out Ys and place emphasis on the team becoming a family, because that's real.
Nice questions...but who's asking these?? The "I'm just a fan guy"?...point is that the answers don't really matter when the answers are falling on deaf and dumb ears. For me it's the same for both candidates:
I want a clear and specific plan to get long term excellence at the QB position. Not just stability. I want to know what's their plan to get elite top 10 QB play permanently at that position.
That means:
How do you plan on developing and supporting Fields?
How do you identify if Fields is the answer?
How long do you give him?
What's your plan if he isn't the answer?
How do you keep long term excellence at the position?
These are the first things I'm asking. If a coach or a GM can't give clear and specific answers I'd end the interview there.
I don’t care who the GM is, as long as his initials are RS
The Bears are like people that watch the shopping network and buy all that shit. They’re always looking for that “gimmick” guy who’s got this killer system that will revolutionize football…I want a GM and head coach that actually understand what it takes to win football games in the NFL in the 21st century.
It always feels like we're behind the good teams in the league. Not just in the standings, but in what they're doing on and off the field to be successful. Look at what people who watched tape about Nagy's offense said. They mentioned things like how no one runs these kinds of plays/routes in the NFL anymore(among other damning things they said about his offense).
The Bears emulate successful NFL teams like Eastern European countries emulate the US. They're always 10 years behind. No more fucking wildcat. No more calling formations and plays like it's 19-fucking-99. I want innovation. I want opposing teams to be guessing what we're doing, and how we're going to attack them. I want the Bears to be the leaders in positive categories, not just the leaders in penalties and "understanding the whys".
