Something irks me about them not having much control over their actions or that they don't know what they're doing. It just irks me. I grew up with one of my uncles (through marriage) whose sister was mentally challenged and it was always an uneasy feeling around here.

I don't think it's dickish at all.. There's nothing wrong with feeling uncomfortable around people with those issues.
