the real question should be if the NFL/CBA can renegotiate all monies this off season because of the Covid impacts around the league and whatnot, I get it that a contract is already permanent but wouldn't the league have more leverage if shit hits the fan like not so long ago/recently?

Foles can opt out of his contract next season. Should a backup job with a real contender open up..........who knows.
