and then it stopped. In its tracks. I'm talking not one gadget play last season.

It's like Nagy showed up, instilled firm roots and a fresh start and then changed.


Why?



Put Mitch and Nick out there same play.
Run Mack up the middle
Send the kicker out for a pass.
Run Patterson up the gut but have him pass.

Why the fuck not?
They can not suck any worse on offense.
So why not?


Was it not entertaining to talk about in 2018?
Media ate it up.
Players loved it.


And boom It stopped.

At least defenses had no idea what to expect and the offense had at least some form of fun. Now its all frustration and Nagy is stubbornly sticking to the same s*** that doesn't work.

Then punt

Set the fkuing tone early...give them a preview of the end of the game right off the bat!!!

The opponent would be dazed and confused and as a side benefit, we'd run a full 2 mins off the clock And not commit a turnover

My point is Nagy took the league by storm, got coach of the year and then said "let's completely erase those trick plays and go with suck"

All that gimmicky shit worked in 2018. It's like he got too serious or something?


I think he reads the press. I really do. People said "ok let's not get too cute on offense" and out the door went all gimmick plays.
People said "run the ball more evenly" and he runs the ball in Special person situations with no effect and sometimes too much.

They need to go Joe Maddon style and bring some monkeys and giraffes up in practice or something. Bring the fun back.
I'm here to be entertained. You can win ugly or win fun. or lose ugly or lose fun err fuck it....

Its Nagy's arrogance.

He thought his brilliant passing schemes would work with BDN and he could just stand back there in 3-4WR sets and chuck it around like Belichick and Brady, hand it off a few times "up the gut" to keep the defense honest and the passing game would do the rest.

Nagy breaks the Halas jersey case..... he puts it on..... silence...... 10 minutes of stone cold silence..... the master is working..... the wheels are turning...... suddenly a smile cracks his face......
