Trading Vaughn for Montas would be epically stupid, and I am less high on Vaughn than many others.

Rick Hahn literally went on the radio today to say Vaughn’s not getting traded. The A’s can want him all they want—ain’t gonna happen.

Heck, even the Marcus Semien trade was epically stupid; he was already a solid player at age 24. But the president of baseball operations back then was in the midst of a solid eight year run of atrocious GM-ing. And the worst was yet to come.
