Seems Desai gets let off the hook some because Nagy is so bad? It wont matter when the new coach is hired but this team is pretty poorly coached on both sides of the ball imo.

No one expects us to drop our 302 lb. 5 tech in to covering the flats. It will be so surprising that Rodgers likely demands a trade to DEN at the end of the season out of fear.

Nicholls was not guarding Jones. Nicholls rushed the passer and was doubled teamed and stopped his rush. So he was just sitting in no man's land watching Rodgers. When Rodgers threw back across the field he then tried to make a play on the ball.

Looking at the All 22, it appears to be Alec Ogletree that was supposed to guard Jones but he bit on the bootleg action and followed Adams across the formation. He seems the most likely at fault because Jackson dropped down to cover Adams on the crossing route and Johnson appeared to drop back to cover if Adams had ran deep. Most likely Ogletree was suppose to cover carry Adams a bit to give Jackson time to drop down and then peel off and cover the back coming out of the flat. As Rodgers bootlegged, Ogletree decided to continue to follow Adams instead of getting back to his responsibility likely thinking Rodgers would not throw back against the grain.

This is a constant issue with this D that Quinn highlighted where guys don't do their 1/11th and instead freelance or try to be a hero. At one point there were 3 guys following Adams ie Johnson who lined up on him, Jackson who clearly had him on the crossing route and Ogletree. No way the idea was to triple team him.
