Why? Who cares? He's a journeyman 32 yr old player who has never done much of anything. The Cubs have a few younger OFs who need a chance to play.....not some hack who gets hot for a few ST games. Spring Training heros are a dime a dozen.

Agreed. That said, most of the cubs younger OF’s aren’t ready for MLB. They need some stop gap help in the meantime for half a year to a year
