Image, embracing the leader of a HUGE movement? Recruiting FAs?

Similar Offensive Scheme as one likely to be run by Trubiski.
Got to think he would be a solid back up?

Would it help with acquisition of harbaugh? Maybe a Pipe Dream, but still.

He would be a fine backup for the Bears. Better than Glennon and Sanchez (I genuinely do like Sanchez) by a long shot.

Lol. This thread. Brilliant move, turn off more of the fan base that isn't already seen enough losing.

I think Chicago might be one of the better markets to do something like this.

Most certainly a pipe dream.

I'm not sure why or how picking up CK helps in recruiting Harbaugh. And more importantly, I don' get the Jim Harbaugh love affair. He isn't doing a great job in Michigan if you look at the results at this point. And he's been there long enough to just start to wear out his welcome.

it might be a good idea.. That might be the last straw that breaks me of the bad habit of watching Bears football! Think of all the free time I would have on sun if they brought that ass clown in here!

What don't you understand? the 9ers were great with Harbaugh and Fangio. And MT is the best QB prospect JH will have.

He's better than our back-ups but look at the liabilities. He may win favor with other players & some fans, but the move would piss off a LARGE portion of your fan base. That alone makes it not worth it. I seriously do know some people that quit watching the NFL over this shit. Fanatics like us have to realize that this business is all about television contracts and casual fans drive that revenue home, not the dude tailgating that has season tickets. Stadium tickets for 8 games in the NFL's smallest stadium is a drop in the bucket. Owners cannot afford to risk losing casual fans over a back-up QB. It's a risk management no-brainer. Any risk you can 100% avoid, 100% avoid it.

Both Kaepernick and RGIII belong in the NFL. Kaepernick is more durable, but I've always been infatuated with RGIII's arm talent.

If the Bears win, this fanbase won't care.

Bringing politics into the locker room is a bad idea in my mind.
