Im just not seeing taking a QB at #3 as being the teams best move. I am for drafting one... just not at #3.

1st
S - Jamal Adams, 6' / 214, LSU
- Ins spite people saying a safety hasn't gone this early since or the class is deep pick on up later rounds... The Bears are in a spot to get a difference maker at the postion... it's a position were waiting till later to take one in a deep class has failed the Bears for years.... why not take the cream of the deep class for a change... while I woild not be too upset if Hooker were the choice.... I just feel more secure with Adams having more experience playing both safety spots and him bringing intangibles the team need like leadership on and off the field.
Alt: S - Hooker, CB - Lattimore

2nd
TE - Evan Engram, 6'3" / 234, Ole Miss.
- with Alshon gone and a new QB in the fold.... I feel that the team should build the talent level around the new QB to give him as much a chance to succeed as possible... the team needs potential offensive playmakers... Engram isn't your typical inline TE, he's not going to earn a living blocking there... he's definatlley a receiving threat and could also be lined out out the back field and more so out of the slot... and be a match up nightmare. Preveiously I was happy waiting too see if he would still be on the board in the 3rd do to his lack of size... but I'm thinking that will factor in less and less as he is just a play maker.
Alt: Qb - Mahommes, QB - Kizer, TE - Adam Shaheen

3rd
QB - Nathan Peterman, 6'2" / 226 lbs, Pitt
- Big hands... good pocket presence... good accuracy to al levels...played in a pro system... has a lot of good arm though not great... Honestly not sure why he isn't rated higher... his touch can be a question at times and needs to prove he has enough arm strength to challenge on some throws
Alt: QB - Davis Webb, DE - Tanoh Kpassagno

4th
WR - Kenny Golladay. 6'4" / 218, NIU
- Local pro... great size and lenth... has a build to add more muscle... needs to imporove route running ability... catches with his hands and will fight for the ball.

5th -7th
Positions for depth esp at OLB, OL and DL

We have two 4th rounders and no 6th.

Happy with the first two picks if we go non QB.

I would be happy. Not erect like the other draft, but this one is safer.

This is the missionary of Bears drafts.

Watson at 3 is the reverse cowgirl of drafts.

Both work for me, one is more intriguing.

This is one of the best mocks that I have seen. In the first 3 rounds you have three starters. I think Peterman finishing the season as the Bears starter. There is nothing that Glennon does better then Peterman. The coaches seemed to like Peterman during the senior Bowl and if he can learn the playbook early there is no reason why he couldn't compete right away.

Instantly adds 2 huge playmakers at need positions. I like.
3-7 is debatable

So you're saying we're fucked either way?

One of the more viable mocks I've seen. I get a sense that Pace may move around this draft, including in 1 if his guy's not there.
