Hester looks to rebound.

If day one of training camp for the Bears is any sign, expect Devin Hester to be lining up opposite Brandon Marshall as the #2 receiver. Coming off of his lowest season of offensive production in his career Hester expects to rebound in Mike Tice’s new Offense.

Wide Receivers coach, Darryl Drake says Hester is coming into his own, “in everyway possible, route running, everything. You just see it in everything he does”, which Drake feel sis going to help Hester and the Bears in the new offense.

The Bears have said they are designing special packages around Hester, something not done under Martz. While Martz was Offensive Coordinator Hester’s touches only went down as Martz ignored the Special talents of Hester. Now with the uncertain future of Johnny Knox the Bears will need some speed on the outside to compliment Marshall’s tools.

Columnist Matt Bowen discusses how he would get Hester the ball, “Think alignment, personnel and pre-snap movement with Hester in three wide receiver sets as he’s a player who can win on inside breaking routes and produce after the catch.”

How would you get Hester the ball and do you expect good things from him in 2012?
