To lighten up the mood I decided to post this thread, called the : ALL BEARS TEAM.

It might seem popular to just say the entire 85 roster, but it’s cool to hear some of the old timer names who played before the 80s. Feel free to give reasons why players are on your list, wether you seen them in person or just because they had an impact on you as a fan.

Here is my list:

QB : Luckman (Because Trubs isn’t there yet)
RB: Payton, Sayers
FB: Red Grange (He can do it all)
WR: Marshall, Jeffries, Gault
TE: Ditka
OL: Clyde Turner, Bortz, Covert, Hilgenburg, John Tait.

DL: Dent, Hampton, Atkins, Hicks (Page depending on the playbook)
LB: Mack, Butkus, Buffone
CB: Frazier, Richardson
S: Fencik, Plank

K: Butler

P: Maynard

I like Buffone but he isn't one of the top 3 LBs of all time for the Bears....I'd rank Urlacher, Fortunato, George, Conner, and maybe even Singletary higher.

Mack has only been with the team a year and probably considered a DE in 4-3 defense...Also Hicks doesnt belong on an alltime-bear team.

Mack is a DE. When you rush the QB 95% of the time you are not a LB

This is a pretty horrible list.

Buffone was on my list because he was nasty like Butkus. Give me nasty over talent any day.

Nice list, I really enjoy those players you mentioned. It makes me want to watch some old YouTube footage.
