Just offer 1 mid level spect for him and take on 3.3M...that could be good. They don't want Manny anymore and would want to trade him. It's not even like the Sox have a good farm system so there's not much to chose from.

Mitchell is out for the year and Gartrell isn't even a top 20 prospect with us and is having at best an average year in AAA. Our farm system is pretty weak.
