I haven't been following the Cardinals. What happened with Kolb? Did he just suck? (I did see him possibly get a concussion in the HOF game?)

$65 million to sit on the bench. Ouch!

I guess his importance to the Cardinals was likely overstated

Sounds like there could be meetings between the league and the officials over the weekend too. We'll see what happens. Clock-beating time.

So, if the #Bears want to keep Collins around another week, they only need to trim to 54 (counting him) as he would go on suspended list.

Former #Bears DT Marcus Harrison could be on outs with #Patriots reports @MikeReiss and no one in these parts is surprised one bit.

McCown is out because of $ and roster spot.. It would of come down to Enderle and Blanchard. They made the decision Blanchard was better a long time ago.. I'm not sure if Enderle is still PS eligable because he was activated for those last games.
They could bring McCown back after not needing a backup punter any longer and his contract would not be guaranteed if resigned after week 1. They could also just wait and see if Cutler stays upright as McCowan will probably still be there.

Can't recall a more disastrous trade for a club than the Kevin Kolb deal has been for Arizona. Just catastrophic for that club.

Albert Breer ‏@AlbertBreer
... Not only did Kolb not work out, but the deal kept AZ from seeking other answers at QB for 2 years. Then, there's the $$, the pick & DRC

I thought that said AND a 6th round pick.. I was confused thinking.. you can just cut your draft picks. Nah I don't want that future draft pick.
