Any scenario that lands AD here long-term is good for me. But IDGAF about being the middle-man team to push him elsewhere. I just don't see any benefit.

Ya looks like only way Chicago is involved is as a third team and not getting AD...

I just don't see anything that could benefit us, even potentially puts us one move away from some benefit. Heck, not even a 'pay to play' good-faith move to open doors for future talks completely unrelated to these players.

There's essentially zero chance AD lands in Chicago, and as Crys stated, there's really no point in middle manning anything for the pels. And without AD, I think the bulls are at least 2 years away from being even remotely relevant. Here's to hoping we don't get shafted by the 'luck' of the lottery for the next ~5 years, I guess?

I don't know, wake me up when GarPax dies..

If the Pelicans somehow got the 4th pick, 7th pick, and Kuzma, that would be a nice return for them.

Like Crys though, I wouldn't want the Bulls to help make that happen.

The players available at 7, if it is a point guard, are shoot first point guards.

Everyone knows Lonzo cannot shoot, he is pass first. The thing that scares me was D Rose WAS a pass first point guard coming out of Memphis and they forced him to become a scorer.

I really cannot see the difference other than thinking we currently have enough scorers.

Give me a point guard that wants to average double digit assists please.

This made me curious, so I checked: Rose score 15 ppg and shot the ball 11 per game. He averaged 4.7 assists per game. Those aren’t the stats of a pass first PG in college.

I'd say Rose was more passive than pass first. Not in the sense that he didn't have the drive but that was just his personality. He wanted to get teammates involved. However his real gift was his ability to score the ball.

So its not like he was Rajon Rondo and was forced to be a scorer - he was always a scorer.

Rose was a bit of an oxymoron in that he was an "unselfish" score first PG. Like Axl said, he wanted to get his teammates involved, but everyone knows his real gift was scoring. As he became a star, that scoring component came out more, but he was still passing the ball around quite a bit. There was no forcing him to do anything, he was doing what came naturally

Exactly. All around. Wanting to get teammates involved =/= pass first

The Pelicans didn't do shit.

All this announcement means is 'Anthony Davis won't play for the Pelicans" "Or anyone else not named the Lakers."

But we don't want any of the Lakers shit or late round draft picks.

"So anyone want to help?" "Bulls?"

and everyone keeps laughing at this shit franchise after
