Busy discussing Trubisky's status since nobody, included the Bears organization, even knows if he practiced.

Jackson has now been upgraded to Defensive player of the month per the score.

Not bad for the 120th pick in the draft.

He should get defensive player of the year votes

38 tackles, 1 sack, 4 INT, 2 FF, 3 TDs

Ed Reed was an All Pro with worse stats than that and Jackson still has 5 games.

Ed Reed was an All Pro with worse stats than that and Jackson still has 5 games.

He also had a pick-six called back on Mack's one & only offside penalty of the year.

I think Donald will win and it will be deserving. Jackson is a front runner for AP.

Ed reed's worst year as a first team all pro was probably 2006 and he had 5 INTs that year.......you are really cherry picking out one year because the rest of Reed's all Pro years were ridiculous......

I just love the immediate forced comparison to Ed Reed. Its not on the same level as Mojorisin comparing Jeremy Langford to Eric Dickerson, but its up there.

Reed had 13 forced turnovers his first two seasons with 1 TD.

Jackson has 12 forced turnovers with 5 TDs in less than two seasons.

Defensive TDs trump any and all defensive statistics, regardless of position.

2 seasons a career does not make but Jackson has undoubtedly had an Ed Reed type impact for the bears.

And Jackson may be an all pro this year for ESPN highlight plays, but let's not put him in the team picture with Ed Reed quite yet.
