Much deserved. Here’s to a few more of these in his tenure

A few more coach of the year awards?? They almost always go to someone whom has turned their team around. With that said, I hope this is the last time he wins the award during his coaching career with Chi.

Probably Reich more worthy. Bears success was more owed to their defense, not Nagy's area of expertise.

same defense and DC was there last year. So the improvement of the team isn't just due to defense.

unless he goes 19-0. Interesting take though. How many of these has Belicheck won?

2003, 2007 and 2010. But don't let that get in the way of a narrative.

Didn’t remember Mack and Smith being there last year and then Jackson raising his game to an elite level. Thanks for the reminder.

I'd rather have Nagy as the HC than Fangio. Gotta give it to Nagy and Pace for that matter. Great hire

That's not surprising considering Ballard has a ton of friends in the media.

Pace should have won it for hiring the COY and the Mack trade alone. What did Ballard do besides hire Reich and hope his QB would finally be healthy?

Jackson was playing at elite level last year for a rookie

Idk if he was elite. He was playing great last year. Not elite like 2018

Yeah...that's why I put in there for a rook :)

His ascension to 1st team All-Pro was not a surprise to me.

Lol, he had two draft picks that made the All Pro team (Nelson and Leonard). He had another that played well at RT. He also signed Ebron and got rewarded with 10+ TDs while Burton faded at the end.

Ballard is just as deserving of the reward as Nagy.

True but 2 things would have me favor Pace.
1) He stole Nagy from Ballard
2) Ballard's McDaniels fiasco

His HC was entirely a late in the day, fall back hire which points more towards luck than skill.

Other than being able to draft 6th, the teams resurgence can mostly be associated with Luck, Andrew luck.

I though Pace nailed his draft but the players Ballard chose weren't available to Pace. Also, the trade for Mack.
