If that's true, why wouldn't we pay him?
It's like $4MM a year.
Narrator: It's not true

or just have Mitch throw to him when scrambling in trouble for the incompletion.Bears will run iso's on him.
my sources say it's a 5 year/ 20 million w/ 5 guaranteed
He is the 11th best player on the defense, they could not afford to pay him whatever ridiculous number this comes out to.

I now hope he becomes a giant bust and a product of the system and talent around him.
What a low class comment.
What a low class comment.
Considering the poster that posted that, are you surprised?
Low class? He signed with our rivals. He has generational wealth. I'm not wishing injury upon him, I just hope he gets exposed as a product of the system.
Hoping someone fails, or "gets exposed" is low class.
So we can keep Callahan now? Im cool with this.
Fine, I hope he picks off mitch trubisky 5 times.
Happy?
Calling him the 11th best player on the defense is almost surely wrong.
Also, we're at a time in the league where the value of safeties is rising. Teams want them on the field instead of linebackers.
Losing Amos hurts, but if we get a nice comp pick then this is still the right course of action for the Bears.

Not in the sports world it isn't. Amos probably Hope's we suck next year too.
