Developing those skills is what we have the minor leagues for.

The problem is that the skills aren't developing at the progress level you'd like. He still sucks at defense and they've had to try him at 1B. He still swings at everything and every year he keeps dropping lower and lower on the prospect rankings such that I don't even think he's in the top 100 right now.

If Vitters is what the Red Sox want, let them have him. But that's just me.

The likely pitcher is Chris Carpetner, but I hope not. If it is ... I won't be pissed tho. If it is Carpetner, we could see Dolis in bullpen.

I could see him but he is a low upside guy isnt he?? I wonder If we give a guy like Wells up who is already a #5 guy who the Soxs could use this year in the pen or as a spot starter. I doubt it proablly will be a spect but that makes as much sense to me because the sox have a few holes in their pen and #5 spot in the rotation.
