Eh, I don't know about this pick. A lot of people had Reshad and Chad Jones both being better NFL prospects than Wright, and the only thing Wright has over the two is a little more speed.

And with Mike Johnson still available as a guard, I would have rather seen the Bears fill the hole that is currently filled by the likes of Josh Beekman and Frank Omiyale.

Im just happy to have a safety that isn't going to be afraid to try and hurt somebody.

Maybe it's just me, but I'd rather he not be afraid to actually cover his zone and take away the deep ball ;)

I was real big on drafting Johnson. I would have liked to get him and maybe take a chance on a late round safety like Robert Johnson or try the Akwasi CB to FS transition project. Its really too bad Asamoah was taken like 5 picks before us. I would have loved to see us sacrifice a late round pick this year and maybe a late round pick next year to move up a handful of slots to get him. The Chiefs got a steal in the 3rd!

Im a huge Gators fan. I think Major Wright's best season was his freshman year. Maybe its the emergence of Ahmad Black but Wright's production seemed to drop off last year.

I got this off the web you can take it either way I am sure he ment it in a good way. This what Wright said after being picked by the Bears.

Major Wright told Chicago reporters: "I literally ran down the street and just lay in the middle of the road and started crying."

I really like this pick. Besides being well rounded and durable, he seems like a cat who has some leadership skills and a good love for the game.

Great. How about his coverage skills in the Cover 2? Again, I'd much rather know about his actual football skills than how much he loves to get paid to play the game.

I really wanted the Bears to get Bruce Campbell. Our line is still a joke.
