Tons of grounders, though a couple have found holes. As long as the Cubs can keep developing groundball pitchers I think they have a shot at being unterrible sooner rather than later.

Of course that depends a lot on the defense too. Castro had a minor bobble and that overshift play took them out of a would-be double play.

Any stats on total runs scored per inning for this season? I'm guessing the 9th inning has the most.

I am pretty sure I heard a stat that said the Cubs had scored the most 9th inning runs in baseball. We beat up a lot of mopup guys.
