I don't care if the guys into fucking a knot in a tree, if he can play he can play. On the other hand though if I'm a player in the Bears locker room you better give this guy his own locker room cuz I ain't puttin up with this guy checking me out. Imagine this guy eyeing up Kyle or Marty or anyone else, or even being suspected of it. It would leave alot of guys paranoid and would be a huge locker room issue. This is probably why hes not signed anywhere in my opinion. How do you keep the locker room free of all the gay bashing, anonymous jokes and snickering. You really don't know how others could act towards him, but I don't see these manly giant football players being to nice to the guy to be honest. Not to mention the media shit storm that would follow the guy around.

Good article, pretty sad that a player of his caliber seems to be blacklisted. The fact is he doesn't even acknowledge being gay. The Bears could use a smart safety right about now. His stats are outstanding, hard to believe this is happening in the modern era. I wished a reporter would have asked Emery about this...

There was a lot of talk about different teams signing him earlier this year. I think by the end of the arguments it seemed that it was more the $$ and wanting a long term deal that had him sitting. Who knows what is actually true though
