they aren't my cup of tea but mick, what do scots think of the pogues? is there any nationalistic/clannish shit going on there (and I know Shane is an unapologetic londonophile)? * I got to see them play on St. Patrick's Day at the Congress The-ater in 2007 which is kind of disney pogues but I am happy to have gotten to see them once live -- RIP Phil Chevron *

They tend to be considered more Irish style, but a lot of Scottish people like them. I'm not real big on them either; I've never been super keen on the Irish/celtic/folky punk stuff. I have a couple of friends over here though who love them and seem to expect me to as well. I'm a big disappointment :(
