Production and health should always be a part of contracts.

I feel we are seeing alot of front office protecting contracts since the new CBA and cap on rookie salaries.
I think the rookie cap has had immense ramifications on vet one year deals.... and now that is even being tightened down more.

Each year it seems that owners are getting better terms since the rookie cap.

I think its a good thing. Its not just a blood bath for owners in FA
Good players are getting big money and thats the way it should be. Its just that middle of the road players or on the downslope are getting squeezed more nowadays.

We are witnessing before our eyes a shift in the balance of power in the league.

LOL ^

I think the FA landscape is going to change drastically within the following two off-seasons. By the time the cap balloons to 160 Million its going to be nuts again with some vets getting drastically overpaid.

Come on now its a matter of degrees.

A few years ago the owners were doing OK, but now its becomming fabulous for them

( No wonder they gave the commish all thos tens of millions in bonuses )

Now if they can just "freeze" ticket prices for the next deecade, I might start going to games again.
