I think it's because Mundy was playing behind Polamalu and R.Clark for his first four years with Pittsburgh and A.Rolle and Will Allen in New York so he's thinking the kid never got a real chance so why not sign him cheap and see if he can be a starter. It's worth a shot and the kid loves contact so put him at SS and see what he's got.

No you are def correct but the only way I look at twitter related things are through sports and thats a joke.

As far as analysis sharing what has happened in FA yes I dont mind that portion of it, but its the fans comments and sports players like Bennett that annoy me on twitter. Feel like every time I check out ESPN Chicago Marty just released 15 new tweets in the matter of a minute haha. I am just not a big social media person as it is.
