That too. 2.53 season ERA with 8.04 k/9 and 1.84 bb/9. When they inevitably trade him he should net some pretty decent pieces. While he initially looked like a Feldman/Maholm play, Feldman put up 3.46 ERA with 6.63 k/9 and 2.47 bb/9. Maholm put up 3.74 ERA with 6.06 k/9 and 2.54 bb/9. I'm thinking he may go for a Dempster/Garza-lite price. Dempster in 2012 put up a 2.25 ERA with 7.18 k/9 2.34 bb/9. Garza put up 3.17 ERA with 7.86 k/9 2.54 bb/9. We could be talking about real prospects in return for him rather than more washed up types that Arrieta and Strop were or injured ones like Vizcaino was.

It's not as shitty as you'd think. Prior to today they had a 3.13 ERA good for 9th in the majors. Most of the damage early was Veras. Thing is blown saves happen. Rondon had a 1.46 ERA prior to today and a still good 2.45 ERA after today.
