They won't move, even king Midas' silver wouldn't make the Ricketts move. And it sucks.

Chicago born and raise my friend....

Sometimes enough is enough with the rooftops and WF bs

All the other Ricketts siblings are ready to move on from there according to dave Kaplan, only person holding on is tom ricketts

This lawsuit now against the city could hold everything up for a few years..

Smart next move by ricketts should be, fine you wanna hold everything up were gonna look else where now...

There would have to be an injunction to stop renovations. And I would like a link on details as some rooftop owners are ok with renovations and only one is not.

Right now I have to file this under hot water and not really a credible threat.

OKay ignore my previous post, it appears it is all the rooftop owners. But the solution isn't to move a team based on a few idiots who are technically being parasites.

The Cubs have deeper pockets and the mayor on their side. Can't really beat that.

Moving is an empty threat, and the RT owners know it. Wrigley is the only MLB stadium that people flock to regardless of what's on the field.

Nonetheless, these roof top owners have been a PIA for years.

They should settle out of court via dumping a bag of German roaches in each of these establishments prior to every home game.:p

I dont see the point in threatening to move. To move the club and build a stadium would take 5 plus years. I feel like the Cubs are more likely to settle with the rooftoppers before then.

Smart move: Buy the buildings in a forced move and do what they want.

Sure. and they still have to get approval for X amount of night games, etc. The neighborhood is a drain that is full of charm and fine drunk memories for all. Build another ball park. 5 years? Doubtful. It didn't take 5 years to build Miller Park.
