LaRoche would be a fine DH, back up 1B.

Splits up Abreu and Garcia.

id like it. what do you think of 3b or LF? we need one stick out of the 2. if we get an outfielder we can keep gillespie to balance out the lineup. also if ramirez goes im down with jed lowrie

I'd like one more BP arm. I think we only need 1 SP, preferably RH that can be a #2/3 type guy.

DH might be Viciedo for us with a more accomplished LF. Give me Rios who can play all OF positions and DH. Better flexibility that Laroche.

rios will never wear a sox uni again. he is now an avg player at best with zero power. viciedo hayes has stated will be dealt or used as a 4th outfielder.

No you can't.

yes he's average with the bat. But very versatile. You need to get past your hatered otherwise your heart will always win.

Laroche is 35+. He's going to want $15 million per...I'd rather have had vmart.

Rios doesn't play all three positions. Just centre and right.

And he's been below average the past two years.

So no glove, no bat = no thanks. And this is from someone who liked Rios.

I thinkhe could paly LF or Avi could. And he's better than no bat, he's league average which would be fine for us right now as a stop gap measure. Plus he'll be a lot cheaper and more productive per dollar than others.

sox fans would revolt. most of us sox fans would prefer no move to signing rios.
