even with joakim out i think Bulls can win this at home. If Rose attacks the rim like he did vs brooklyn we have a chance vs anyone.

Taj being back helps our offensive rebounding efficiency and rebounding overall. Vegas is giving Portland +2.

I like our chances tonight Bulls win 107 - 101

Shut down Aldridge. Close out on shooters. We'll have a chance.

If Thibs were willing to change things up a bit, I'd put Mirotic on Aldridge quite a bit. They need to switch guys on him to throw him off.

I guess Doug's knee wasn't a minor thing. Fuck the training staff

Rose went 0-2 from three. And one of them was just to get one off before the shot clock. I consider that a great adjustment from the 1-7 games.

It was a very entertaining game to watch and glad that they won. However, I believe that the 2nd unit played a whole lot better team basketball. The ball moved and it was crisp except for Hinrich who had a horrible game. He couldn't guard a chair in that game and neither could Gasol. Someone mentioned before that the Bulls defense isn't nearly as good as the last few years and I disagreed. Now I am not as sure. Rose is not a good defender, Gasol looks just a bit better than Boozer out there in that he never leaves his guy to help. Dunleavy is slow.

I want Thibs to start Mirotic at small forward instead of Dunleavy who really is nothing but a bench player. I think that a team of Butler, Rose, Gasol, Noah, and Mirotic would be good on both sides of the ball. Gibson, Dunleavy, Brooks off of the bench while rotating starters with the second unit would be their optimum team.

Lillard and Aldridge combined for 70 points. Dang.

Rose is playing smarter and picking his spots better. I like the maturation of his game.
