So awesome to get a 3rd round pick and dump Bollig in the process.

Great return for Bollig.

Gonna miss his attitude and hard work, but 3rd round pick for a guy who brings nothing besides a 4th line role is big.

I don't understand why they would take him for a 3rd. I'm sure Stan would of taken a 4th or 5th for him.

Scott a 5th, Bollig a 3rd... will the next plug return a 1st?

If anything, Bowman is a genius at trading enforcers. Way better at trading them, than Quenneville is at benching them.

Hawks lack some big bodies outside of Bickell at forward. Wonder if McNeill now gets a shot this training camp.

First Stan moves Scott for a 5th (who later gets moved for a 6th) and now Bollig for a third. Great job of turning useless scrubs to potentially proper hockey players. Addition by subtraction. Off-season saved by this move.

Now if only Q doesn't find someone equally useless to take a roster spot away from someone that could contribute more than 5 mins a game.

Burke is steadfast in his obsession about "truculence". Bless him.

And also freeing up 1.25 million in cap space.

That was the key part of the trade. Hawks are not under and probably won't do anything else in the offseason unless someone else gets traded for more space.

I'm sure some teams do, but he's the last guy on the roster the Hawks are supposedly going to trade.

I was actually trolling there with Sharpies agents quote.

Plus I'm awake too early on the weekend and feel the need to provide chaos.

Thank christ. And for a third rounder? What the fuck is Calgary thinking lol? I would've been fine with a sixth or seventh.
