Tonight is going about as good as I could hope. Everything seems to be well again, at least for tonight.

POP = resting his starters for tomorrow.
Thib's = playing starters with game tomorrow and his 1st round pick with 0 minutes. :smh:

7 mins left in the quarter is not "late in the 4th". Gasol & Butler are the only starters out there and they've had significant rest for the game. Butler sat long stretches in foul trouble.

Well we needed this win in the worst possible way. Great defensive effort tonight and a 20+ point win (well maybe).

He played 32 mins, well below his yearly average. And Jimmy and Rose played less than 30 tonight. Thibs did a good job with minutes tonight.

Yet Thib's can't even get him 1 shot! It's completely unacceptable to me. There's no way Thib's needed to keep Kirk in that long that McD doesn't even get up 1 shot. It's poor coaching, imo.

We'll see how much effort they have tommorow. POP managed to get his starters some rest. Two deep teams, two different coaching styles. I've been a big supporter of Thib's managing the players minutes, but there is no excuse for not getting your #1 draft pick minutes, which you traded 2 draft picks for, who brings to the table the main thing the Bulls have been missing.... shooting.
