I think we gave up more than he's actually worth.

This now means we have no 1st or 2nd round pick going into another mini-rebuild. Lovely.

Vermette was informed of the trade just before ARI plane took off from BOS. Vermette will fly back to ARI with team. Join CHI later.

Blackhawks are certainly going for it. Hoping that the silver lining in Kane's injury is going to work out. Love to see this team go for it and hopefully this puts them over the top. Blackhawks are pretty damn strong down the middle now and Vermette is a guy who plays the right way night in and night out. Not worried about giving up a first round pick...Blackhawks have plenty of prospects and will likely get some of those picks/prospects back this summer when they have to make a trade or two to free things up. In my opinion, late first round picks are overrated anyways.

Still hoping the defense can put things together and Timonen plays like he did the last time he was on ice. That #6 spot scares me but if TVR can play his way back into the lineup, I like what he can bring to the table for 10-15mins a night.

Exciting stuff.

That's gonna be an awkward flight with his teammates.

Nice, I was hoping to pick him up several years ago when he was leaving Columbus. Good to finally have another solid faceoff guy and all around good C.

I'll take 3 Cups in 6 years if it means a few years of rebuilding after.

Wouldn't be surprised if the Hawks won at least 4 cups from 2010-2020.

Not a bad move by Bowman. Personally think we came out of this trade the winner, although only time will tell for sure. Need to stop giving away all our prospects though.

Cue the cunting from Capt Serious.

This means no more Dahlbeck. I have yet to bang his girlfriend. I'm not happy about this move
