Hope the Bulls can win at least 50 games. A 2nd round matchup of the Cavs and Bulls would be a ratings dream for the NBA. Not as much as a ECF's but it will still draw huge money for them. Especially if both win 50+ games.

Bulls need to go 7-3 the rest of the season to hit 50 wins.

Losing 3 players right after the ASB will do that I guess...
March was looking like a brutal month after our injuries... And it was... Some huge wins over Was, OKC, Ind (who were streaking), and Tor.. but losses to the West powerhouses, maddening losses to Charlotte and Detroit just piled on. I still don't understand that loss to Detroit. I didn't see the game, so I can't really say much to it. Based on how only 8 players played the majority of the game, I want to blame Thib for playing a playoff rotation on a back to back.

My guess is that against Detroit everyone just sucked...but I'm not sure either since I didn't see the game

They had a 19 point lead then allowed a 54-19 run.....That's inexcusable.

I like our chances....plus we're catching toronto on a back to back. Maybe Thibs rested Noah for tonight's game knowing this game has more impact on final EC standings.

Any gamblers taking this bet with me tonight? Going in pretty heavy and locked it in at -1

Sadly, I don't think they'll pull it off :(

I actually think they will...ill go out on a limb and say they will finish 8 - 2. I just have a feeling this team has been waiting for this time of year, right before the playoffs to get things in tune and then hit the playoffs running :woot:

Hopefully you're right, and quite honestly, I expect this from the Bulls. If they are going to compete, now is the time to make a statement. They should be getting all of their players back, they have an easy schedule, and they have a lot of rest in between games.

Now is the time to step it up and make a statement to the NBA World, imo. I will be extremely disappointed if we have continued "under performance' games going into this stretch. That will be completely unsatisfactory to me, imo.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm ready for Snell to start instead of Dunn going into the playoffs. :yep: Thib's can still play the hotter player down the stretch, but Dunn's defense has taken a step back this year, imo.

I'm not sure if our defense is really this bad or if Toronto is just draining all kinds of jumpers.

Halftime: 54 - 50 Toronto - Come on Bulls!

Bulls need to step it up a little in the 2nd half. Time to start taking care of Business, and that starts with securing the 3rd seed. It shouldn't be hard to get this win against a team we've matched up well with, especially with them coming off a back to back. Time to play some high energy defense like you mean it!Get er done Bulls!!!

Was that in response to me? I think Toronto has been shooting the lights out (53.5% from 2 and 60.0% from 3). However, Dunn's defense as a whole is the basis of my comment. Not just this game.

I just think Snell can give the Bulls as much shooting as Dunn, but better defense on opposing starters than Dunn can at this point. I also like Dunn's veteran presence off the bench better at this point going into the playoffs.
