I like Crawford. He is a good goalie. Trading him is nothing personal. Purely cap related.

Darling starts game 6 says Q. Shouldnt be no shock there. You dont go switching your goalies up 2 times in one series unless something dreadful happens. Game 5 for Darling was bad but it wasnt a game where you yank him for game 6. Craw shit the bed in two games, Darling can have an off night and not be thrown to the wolves and given a second chance also. Now if he shits em in game 6 then we got ourselves Craw for game 7. The way this series has gone as far as a script goes...it wouldnt shock me to see that happen. But i do think game 6 is the end of the series. Seen this before. Closing out series in 5 games is usually difficult on visitors ice. Game 6 should be a game where the Hawks go all in and finish these fuckers off.

I read somewhere that Crawdadz might have a pill problem. Maybe that's why he's played so badly. You'd think they'd want the more physical goalie in their after the beatdowns, but if he's strung out maybe there is situation here...

Of course craw has a pill problem. Look at him sitting on the bench hes unkept and a disaster. Looks good in a suit but as soon as he gets the pads on his hair gets all tangled up and his five o clock shadow starts looking like a 1970s porn stars bush. Guys a fucking mess dont need twitter to tell us all we need is the camera shots of him. Appears he stinks like a hobo also because there aint nobody sitting next to him. Hes a disgrace to the indian head.

Send craw the pill popper to the Oilers and he can get his rocks off with Eberle.

Crawford has substance abuse problems? Has this been confirmed on SportsMockery.com or Twitter yet?

If not... don't believe everything you hear/read.

So....yeah Darling pooped the bed and Crow bailed him out. Seriously after giving up that first one Darling looked like absolute shit. I'm not arguing who's fault the goals were I am saying he looked bad. I wasnt surprised when he got the hook.

Eerily similar to game 1 IMHO. Starting netminder didnt look good and was yanked. Team looked like the Bulgarian Womens National Team prior to him getting yanked and only woke up afterwards.

I have no problems with any of Q's netminder decisions though the Preds series. I also think that Crawford/Darling as a tandem and their attitude is a good thing. I won't claim to know what happens behind closed doors but I really have to wonder why Q hasn't jammed a cattle prod up key skaters' poopchutes and set the voltage to Tesla Coil for how bad they've looked in the backend.

I think that it is more on the goalies themselves. Most of the goals given up in that series were ones in which the goalie shouldn't have made. I think Q no question will chew his defenders out but he knows also that he has not gotten even good goal tending thus far. I think in that last game Crawford only saw like 13 shots so that is no barometer.

I disagree--we're talking degree here. The Goalies weren't good except for Darling in games 1, 3, & 4. The backend play by the skaters in games 1, 2, 5, and the beginning of 6 was abyssmal.

Goaltening needs to be better--anyone saying otherwise is really trying to give you the full fist. But let's call a spade a spade here--as bad as the goaltending was the team D was worse--and that's maginfied by the fact that, aside from games 3 and 4, it took the goalie being yanked in game 6 for them start playing. It's not like we're icing Quint, Berard, Odelein, Scott, Zyuzin, and Richmond as our defense and you expect mediocrity. All 6 of our netminders are Olympians. They should be bloody well right embarrassed.

Defenseman, but I do agree. Darling certainly earned his roster spot. Raanta must be disappointed.

So it's more on the most dependent position on the ice. Okay lol. Sorry but when I see Duncan Keith get absolutely pantsed by Matt Fucking Cullen for a grade A chance on net, I'm not blaming the goalie there.

We are in a good spot. I think the league noticed Darling had some potential this year, and thats all you want to see. The fact that any of this happened shows the league that the Hawks organization who views these guys in practice thought it was a close call.

Somebody who needs a goalie is going to be sniffing one or both of our goalies, and maybe even Raanta. Either way, we are going to get assets for at least one goalie at some point, unless the security of Darling for another playoff run behind Crawford is worth passing and letting Darling expire. Wow us with offers NHL!! Wow us!! We have no urgency to move a goaltender with Crow on pills and Darling getting better and motivated. I like that he got a taste of playoff hockey, a city behind him, and some pussy wagon rewards. Toast of the town for a weak. It will only motivate him to get back to that point. I have a feeling we haven't seen the last of this carousel just yet, Q gonna Q.

I thought Darling looked a little wild.....at 6'6" that is going to happen. Lanky and can get erratic, that magic mojo wore off, and the predators figured out what to do with a big goalie....move them side to side. Those back doors were too open. He has to learn how to transition into that coverage faster. We go home without Darling on this roster.

Just maybe he will bring the best out of Crow as well. I'm optimist all the way about the goalies.
