A pretty simple discussion.

I am of the firm belief that the Bears SHOULD NOT have let their best receiver since 2000 Marty Booker go due to a few little attitude problems.

I am also a huge fan of Alshon - but can he step up as a #1?

Will either have 1,000 yards this year?

Alshon will have the better year...but I don't predict anything too astronomical. A modest 1,200 yards and 10 TDs

Well, apparently, the rest of the NFL, too, didn't think much of him based on the fact that the Bears only got a 5th (?) for BM. Lots of teams needed a productive WR. But they weren't standing in line for BM, either. If healthy, which is a big IF, AJ should have a better year. The QB issue in NY alone almost assures that. But AJ needs to get and stay healthy and there are millions of reasons for him to want to be on the field.

As for Alshon Jeffery vs Brandon Marshall, I think Jeffery will. Marshall has Fitzpatrick and Geno Smith throwing his way.

As incompetent as Jay Cutler is, he is still better than Ryan Fitzpatrick

Also the Jets have Eric Decker, who can handle his own. The Bears don't really have anyone else
