Ken 'Hawk' Harrelson, the colorful television voice of the White Sox for 31 years, will be reducing his 2016 work schedule to 81 games, according to a Major League source.

Make that two. I really enjoy Hawk. He's a throwback to earlier broadcasters who were big time fans of the game and their team. Now these PC guys come on the scene and it is all scrubbed bullshit. I enjoy it when Hawk goes off on the umpires, shitty defense, and bad base-running. He is a White Sox fan sitting at a bar pissed off when his team fucks up and is very happy when they do something good. He represents me if I did the broadcasts.

Hawk would like it to be Carmen DeFalco. He subbed a few times a few years back and Hawk has been behind him. I'd love for Dave Wills to come back home and be the play by play man.
