Gonna crunch some numbers in the next 24-36 hours and see if this slow start from Toews is the same as it's been in other years. I'm leaning towards a no.
I'm still not too worried about this team. Hard for me to do that. But each loss gets a little bit more unnerving.
That being said, I expect all hands on deck when they travel to St. Louis on Saturday night. Always seems to be a good wakeup call, facing those meth heads.

I don't think Shaw on the power play is going to change any time soon. I appreciate his willingness to go to the dirty areas on that power play but maaaaaaaan I wish he was just a little bit bigger so he could, ya know, actually screen the goalie. He can grow out his hair as long as he wants but he's still 5-9 at best.

9-6-1 last year at this time, won the cup. 8-7-1 in 2010, snuck in on last day and lost in first round.
If the circus trip pounds them down below Colorado, we may have a 2010/11-ish team on our hands.
