Well, it's a home game. Which means the Hawks should play really well and bounce back from that miserable performance they put together last time they faced the Devils.

LET'S GO HAWKS!

In response to Dmelt:
I think they need to respond by not letting teams dominate the forecheck like Edmonton did in the 2nd period of last game, adding up to 22 shots against in 20 minutes. The whole On/Off/On could've proved devastating if Crawford didn't bail them out of that period. We've been seeing a lot of goaltender wins as of late (save the 6-5 shitting of the bed against the Blues), and the Hawks need more than 88-72-15 bailing them out on the offensive side of the puck. Toews was clutch in both of the 1-0 wins, but he needs to get on the scoresheet early and often with an ailing Hossa.
Reports are saying that Keith may be in the lineup as early as next week, which will help tremendously on the blue line.

Garbutt and Tikhonov appear to be the odd men out tonight

One of the big issues with that is the guy who's best at navigating another team's aggressive forecheck is the one you mention at the end of that post about him being injured.

It seems like the Hawks forwards are still too often doing that thing where they fly the zone as soon as it appears one of their D-men is going to get the puck, the D-men then throw the puck up the boards hoping that the forwards are there, but since they've already taken off up the ice the puck gets corralled by the opponents.

Daley was supposed to be that band-aid.
Q made sure he had limited ice time last game.

Looks like if Dallas was your last home, the press box may be your bench.

Q's doing everything he can to keep him out of defensive situations. Two-thirds of his zone starts (that's 66% for all the kids out there) have been in the offensive zone and that's the highest mark on the team. Next highest Gustafsson at 62.1, then TVR at 54.3.

My favorite teams
  1. Portland Timbers
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
Need a better effort than the last one against NJ.

Should be noted that Garbutt, while he practiced, is still considered "sick" by Q. Q had said that whatever Garbutt had put him on his ass for a few days and that no skating was done in that time. I'd expect to see Garbutt back in the line up on Saturday if Keith is back and a forward has to be sent down.
