Are those the same idiots who said the same thing about Angelo and Emery?
We can disagree with picks, results, performance, etc.
But let's all live in reality - guys like Angelo, Emery, Fox, etc - who are men 60 years of age who have been around the college and NFL game for decades - know the playbook, know the scouts, know the players, know the mindset, know the training regime, the travel schedule, the practices, the injury rehabs, the business, the trades, the salary cap, etc. - know considerably more about NFL football and NFL football talent than every person on this and every forum combined.
They make decisions. Sometimes those decisions are wrong. In most sports, failure is common. Baseball hitters fail, on average 75% of the time. That's reality.
Suggesting random posters on an internet forum who watch NFL RedZone are more knowledgeable than NFL GMs is just ridiculous. Owners are in the business to succeed, win championships and make money. Ask Rocky Wirtz what winning championships does for the balance sheet. If overweight opinionated internet forum denizens 'knew more about football', then guys like Kraft, Rooney and Mara would hire them. They don't.
