Lmao "I know you got several million more dollars, a Super Bowl ring, and about 80 pounds of muscle on me..... but I fucked ya girl." :cum:

The thing is if Derek Wolfe was a dick in real life, you could always hold that over his head if you ever ran into him. Just be like " How are those sloppy seconds.....bitch." Dude could never say anything back . You win that battle man. You win it everytime.

I think the two of you are 3 weeks to late to pull that off.

Fox may have had a little say, but he wasn't the GM.

Quite frankly, I think the Floyd pick is more from Fangio than Fox.

On leaning on head coach John Fox after coaching the likes of Von Miller and Julius Peppers.

"[Coach Fox] has been pounding the table to add these types of guys for a while now. So we would talk a lot during the season saying that ‘hey we need to get off the field on third down and we need guys to help us in that area'. This is the type of player that can help that, so again add a major pass rush threat to our defense."

So John Fox was the GM for all those teams.

That's new.

How was 2015?

Kind of funny huh? Kind of funny how all these great g.m.s follow him around from team to team too.

Dang, sounds like Fox is really a draft guru with Elway and Pace being very overrated Yes-men...

I am going to go out on a limb and say Fox had quite a bit of input. Since Fox and the coaching staff does go to the combine and individual schools for scouting, it would be foolish to assume Fox had no input on particular targets for the Bears. As I said not compartmentalized.

We can debate Fox as a coach and his game day philosophies, but dude knows how to identify and develop talent. That shouldn't be in question.

It's easier for me to buy this pick because I'm a huge fan of Floyd, but Fox and Fangio gave this the green light.

Doesn't matter because from the sounds of it, the GMs were just there to get Fox his coffee and wipe the sweat off his brows while he was busy drafting.

Marty Hurney, he was later fired in 2012 for letting the Panthers go 1-5.

Was he not the coach when Tebow got picked in the first round?

No, but if you think Fox had no say in the picks look at the future picks. Here is the drafting after he left.

2009: Trade Down Round 2 Everette Brown DE

28 years old and no longer playing in the league

2010: Trade Down Round 2 Jimmy Clausen QB

JIMMY CLAUSEN!!!!

2011: Cam Newton QB

Hard to screw up the first pick of the NFL Draft but after all that past great drafting you end up with the Number one pick in the NFL draft?!

2012: Luke Kuechly LB

Great Pick! but the GM was fired mid season after the Panthers went 1-5 in 2012.

Apparently Fox has been a GM since he came into the league.

He leaves the Panthers draft Jimmy Clausen and a DE that is only 28 but no longer plays in the NFL.

Wait, it is Fox and not Pace? We are screwed if something happens to Fox.
