If we drafted a qb every year we are going to have like 7 qbs on the roster at one point ha ha

From article Sept 2015:

Cutler will beat bad teams, he'll play ok against average teams, but he'll lose against good teams. Sure there are a few outlier games through the years, but generally speaking this is what you get with Jay.

First for comparisons sake, here are his overall career numbers, including playoffs.

62W-60L (.508), 2,429 completions, 3,949 attempts (61.5%), 28,329 yards, 186 touchdowns (4.7%), 132 interceptions (3.3%), 85.0 passer rating

Now here are his numbers in the 13 games against the Packers.

1W-12L (.077), 243 for 424 (57.3%), 2,986 yards, 16 TDs (3.8%), 24 Ints (5.7%), 66.1 passer rating

And finally here are his numbers against every other team in the NFL.

61W-48L (.560), 2,186 for 3,511 (62.3%), 25,342 yards, 170 TDs (4.8%), 108 Ints (3.1%), 87.4 passer rating

As expected, his overall stats receive an uptick when taking out Green Bay, but the numbers still paint a picture of a middle of the road QB.

If this post was to show how bad cutler is it didn't... it just showed the packers manhandled the bears the last 6 years.

Quick trivia: which has happened more often?

Jay cutler finishing in the top 12 in passer rating or TDs thrown
Jay cutler finishing in the top 12 in INTs or INT%

The answer should not surprise anyone with a brane

what this probably really means is the teams have been shit for several years.

not sure what happened in the case of Favre and Brady however.

Should always entertain the idea of drafting a Qb every year. Jay is what he is a Qb who shows flashes, but also has his WTF moments. I would rate him as a top 20 guy within the 15-20 range.

No, I actually really like Cutler as the Bears qb. I like watching him. He reminds me of Favre.

I think Cutler is the anti hero and I always love rooting for the guy. He's a lot of fun to watch. To me he's the epitome of Chicago style grit as a qb. Tough. Blue collar type who doesn't back down from anyone. I like his style and the way he plays the game.

Maybe late career Favre, but he destroyed the Bears for like 10 years. Ohhh christ those years were pretty horrible, actually the Packers own our asses over the last 20 years.

That's kind of you. The Cutlerites will still call you a hater though

I don't know how much clutch you're talking about when the son of a bitch has only seen the playoffs once in a 10 year career and even shit the bed there vs the team he's done more right by than any, the Packers.

Just the facts hater.....and since you brought up the Packers, Erin is one of the worst in the clutch....but you already know that:lmao:

Stick to the subject next time and enjoy the stats
