Yeah, cuz guys like Sale, Lawrie, Melky and Frazier have no heart, right?
The problem is not heart, it's talent. They don't have enough of it.The Sox were winning on heart and sheer will with utility players in the lineup everyday. We all know that Garcia, Jackson, Rollins and both catchers aren't good enough to start for a contending team in the MLB.
The team has regressed to it's expected mean performance. This is what happens when your club settles for too many plan "B" and "C" guys to fill holes because your owner doesn't want to give potential FAs a longterm deal.
Judging from the last 3 weeks or so, I'm inclined to say the Sox are the worst team in the A.L. Pitching is shit, defense is shit, and the offense has been unbearable to watch, with a few obvious exceptions (The Toddfather).
