It was just really nice having another young skill guy who can make all the passes, understood our system, could play multiple positions, and you could count on to create dangerous turnovers with several timely steals a game.
Schmaltz/Dano/Danult/TT Having those 4 in the system meant we had solid answers at key spots deep into the future. Where we are headed seems the least clear to me that it has since 2009.

I think losing Dano and Danault will hurt more than losing Teuvo. Was not a fan of either of the trades that shipped them out.

Schmaltz wouldn't have signed if he was going straight to AHL to start, he will break camp as a winger on the 3rd line.
