As Almora grounds out to go 0-2, the announcer Len Casper quickly goes to Almora's defensive highlights and says: "but he is known for his defense" LOLOLOLOLOLO

Kind of great Lester got thru 7 under 90 pitches. Good rebound after a few bad starts.

There ya go. Cubs decided to be aggressive and run on Cespadis before he flubbed the ball. Need to take chances

Albert Almora doesn't always get a hit but when he does it usually scores a run. He has 9 RBI's in 21 hits.

Nice to have a reliever (other than Rondon) that can hit 96plus consistently on the radar.

Here we go again, unbridled optimism. Just waiting for the next 1927 Yankee comparison

If we are the worst team in baseball, what does that make the Mets? The second worst?

"How's the water?", he asks, before peeing endlessly.

I don't think the Cubs have it made. I see numerous teams that pose a post season threat, And we aren't in the postseason yet.

But I will enjoy watching a good, fun team.

Obviously some can't.

Watching the Cubs is great fun for me. But considering I'm older than most I have seen more unfounded homerism. So, I have adopted a realist position. However, we have many that are more new to this that piss themselves with every run scored. I prefer to take a more balanced approach. But keep taking shots at me, I'm kinda bulletprooof

Nah, you just bring old thoughts from the past regime, which has nothing to do with the Cubs new regime. You need to wash your thoughts ... and your 100 year underwear.

I understand. I have seen it, too. I agree there are many who go overboard optimistic / unrealistic.

But then again, I don't want to do the "worried Cub fan" thing and suffer all year while the team is winning.
