Hendricks on the hill tonight. Havent seen a lineup posted.

Rob Zazstrynky(Dont care if I mispelled it) and Felix Pena are being called up. Hector Rondon went on the DL. Reports are he did not have a set back. The Cubs are just being cautious with him. Edwards and Grimm will fill his spot. I am guessing Lackey is headed to the DL as a pre caution as well. The Cubs know the division is theres and just trying to not get anyone hurt.

how do you all feel Hendricks will translate to elevation? I'm still trying to figure who can pitch here. Location and change speeds should work anywhere, but changeups don't catch air as much to dive, splitters don't move as far. A straight change would not be effected, with heavy heat. Which is why I think they stockpile fastball hitters to cover the noneffected pitches.

Its rain/lightning here right now though, might not play this one.

People talk about the ball flying furter but I don't think thats it, I think pitches don't "catch" the thin air, don't move as far, end up hanging and getting hit square.

Hendricks just needs to keep the ball down.

simplistic at best in a normal stadium. Against this rockies team, at 6,000 feet its tough to throw a strike that isn't straight.

We'll just call him "Zas" I have enough trouble with Szczur.

It's really not that hard to remember if you break it into 3 parts, Zas-try-zny. Zas you already got. Try is a normal word. And zny rhymes with try. Also, cubs add a bunch more Z's to their 25 man roster. Pretty sure they already lead the league in that and they just added 2 more.

So IOW, he needs to keep the ball down.

The Cubs lineup tonight is nasty. With the humidity in the air, ball should be a bit stickier.

I'd like to see a full cubs lineup 1.Fowler 2. Schwarber 3. Rizzo 4. Bryant 5. Soler 6. Contrares 7. Baez 8. Arrieta 9. Russell win a hot day game here 20-0.

I expect Goodman will have to say many times " take a good look you won't see it for long "

All of their runs on HR's......again.

Keep them in the park and they're nothing.

Phils up 3-1 in 7th. Bases loaded one out. They don't score.

8th inning, Phils batter slides safely into 2nd to put men on 2nd and 3rd with one out. But wait! Challenge. Clearly safe. Cards announcers admit it over and over. Called out. Phils fail to score.

MLB wants these dbags in playoffs.
