Kyle Long injury could be an issue.

I'm responding here instead of the "official" thread so Desp doesn't feel so bad about starting the 2nd thread. Helping the CCS peeps...

I propose the NFL goes to 7 on 7 this year, only way we can sustain the departure of Slawsien.

BTW, this thread destroys the official one.

The Bears should trade/cut more O talent.

White will replace Marshall.
Grasu will replace Slauson.
Langford will replace Forte.

At this rate George Halas will replace Fox.

John Fox and Pace secretly hate cutler and want him gone. They want to put the worst OL on the field so he gets injured and can cut him. All conjecture lmao but these mounting injuries are getting out of hand.

Labrum issues are not good. If it's torn, he's done for the year. We're incredibly thin at OL even with Kyle. This would be a devastating blow. Although it could put us in position to finally land the 1st over all pick.

Not like it matters. This team is finishing last in the division with or without Long.

Looking for information on the Oline injuries and issus, I came across this quote from an unexpected source about Whitehair.

From Goldman: ""He's (Whitehair) gotten better along the way," Goldman said. "He's a tough kid. He's probably stronger than me. He has a good grip; when he gets a hold of you he's not going to let you go. He's a good run blocker and pass blocker, too. In the run, he comes off low. In the pass, he has good balance and good feet."

not good...kyle usually likes to update his injury status on his own...the fact he hasn't said much isn't very reassuring that it's not major....

hmmmmm.....

I'll just leave this here for the ones that have worn thru their current ones...

Maybe they finally told him to shut up.

Actually linemen have been known to play through this. It is a matter of pain management.

In fact Russell Okung played thru a torn labrum.
