Wouldn't mind him doing what Kyle did and came up with a B game. Kyle is now going with a 4 seem and a curve later in games to give a diffrent look to these batters. That has pushed him from a #5 last year to a 2 this year. Montgomery has a strong change but with a 4 pitch mix like Kyle is doing should help him just the same.

No the magic number is 7. If the Cubs go 7-6 the Nats can't lose a game. Tie goes to the Cubs.

Magic number is 7 since the Nationals have to outright beat the Cubs for HFA, not just tie since tiebreaker is determined by H2H record, which the Cubs own due to a 5-2 series win.

Hendricks: 4.83 per 9
Lackey 4.24 per 9
Hammel 4.76 per 9
Was reading that Hendricks has been suffering from poor run support. Arrieta looks juiced IMO. Lackey you can see why his wins are low. He has suffered the most this year.
