Rondon not locating slider well at all and he complicates things even more by hanging a few upstairs...then shies away from throwing them and they lock on to his fastball. He looks fine...he's hitting 97 and 98 on the gun. He needs to join Jake and work on his command. Time is running short and it's a pretty good guess that Maddon is losing his faith in him.

So I'm thinking that killed Lester's bid for the CY. 5 runs vs Cinncy? Fell short of 20. Right now it is Max's to lose.

Rather have Lester throw a dud today than next Friday. He'll be ready for Game 1.

There are no haters, just confused fans. Next year it will be either Schwarber, Soler or Baez on the bench or gone because they signed Zobrist to 3 guaranteed years here.

Baez benefited this year with Schwarber getting hurt and Soler starting out slow and getting hurt.
He probably spends more time in AAA after starting season on DL

Next year if Soler still on team..
Probably see a Schwarber, Soler platoon unless one gets on a hot streak.


Contreras will Catch and won't play LF

Baez most likely gets spot starts at all 4 IF positions and probably used as defensive replacement at 2B when needed

Maddon will be in his glories with all the moveable pieces he has to play with every game

Just hope it don't carry over into later.
This was against the Reds and Pirates for Arrieta
Teams they should of at very least had QS against

they have all week to rest, watch films, and work on things

Dodgers being no hit through 3

Kendrick removed after 2 AB, wouldn't surprise me if others are taken out after 2nd AB.
Like I said, didn't think Dodgers would put much of an effort to win this game..
Making sure regulars come out healthy was more important

It was Scherzer's to lose before today. His numbers are surperior outside of ERA across the board.

So what happened with Hendricks? Was working. No control because he walked on in after hitting a guy. It seems like some one else that inning.

I don't know about superior..
Take away strikeouts, Lester was right there
Probably had chance if he had a good outing and won 20th game his last start
